TZ Pula - Zvjezdarnica
Located in Monte Zaro Park, Pula Observatory was founded in 1869 and is the oldest in Croatia. It was once part of the Austro-Hungarian Imperial and Royal Hydrographic Institute of the Navy.
From this observatory, 28 asteroids were discovered, some named “Polana,” “Adria,” and “Istria.” Besides stargazing, the site offers sweeping views of the city and the bay.
