Getting to Hotel Monumenti

By Car

Pula is well connected by road. The main route is the A9 motorway (Istrian Ypsilon), which links Pula with the rest of Istria and the Croatian highway network.

Travel time from Zagreb is about 3 hours, and from Ljubljana approximately 2.5 hours. Tolls apply and can be paid by cash, card, or ENC device.

By Air

Pula Airport is located about 6 km from the city center and offers numerous seasonal and year-round flights.

It is currently connected to over 30 European destinations, including domestic flights from Zagreb, Zadar, Osijek, and Split (via Croatia Airlines and Trade Air), and international flights from Vienna, Brussels, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, London, Manchester, Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Zurich.

Pula is also within easy reach of Venice, Trieste, and Ljubljana airports – each accessible by car in 2 to 3 hours.

During the summer, the city is served by low-cost carriers such as Ryanair, EasyJet, and Jet2.

By Sea

Pula’s port offers seasonal catamaran routes connecting the city with Italy and the Croatian islands.

In summer, ferries run to Venice (via Venezia Lines and Adriatic Lines), with a journey time of about 3.5 hours.

Domestically, Pula is linked with the islands of Unije, Susak, Silba, Ilovik, Lošinj, and the city of Zadar – especially during the tourist season. The port is located in the city center.

By Train

Pula’s railway station is located along the waterfront, just a short walk from the city center.

The city is connected by rail to Rijeka, Zagreb, and Ljubljana, though travel times may be longer due to transfers and track layout.
